Did you know there's one thing you can do to improve your wellness? And with all the computer work we do, it's more important than ever. The simple thing to do is ... Stretching.
I know we've all heard it before. I'm just as guilty of skipping over the stretching. But there are 4 basic stretches you can do sitting in front of your computer.
Our massage therapists have a couple simple tips to follow when doing these 4 stretches.
Move with slow, focused intention.
Don't Over Stretch or push the stretch further than comfortable.
Hold the stretch at a comfortable position and breathe in relaxation.
Slowly turn your head to one side. Arms relaxed by your side.
Hold for 5 seconds.
Slowly turn your head to the other side. Hold for 5 seconds.
You'll feel a stretch along your neck and shoulders. Keeps the neck muscles from getting stiff and helps prevent techie neck.
