Did you know that Los Angeles County approved indoor medical massages? YES THEY DID.
Here's how they explained it:
"Only physician ordered massage are allowed to be conducted indoors as long as the same protective measures described in this protocol for personal care services that are conducted in outdoor spaces are adhered to"
You need a prescription from your Medical Doctor or Chiropractor stating a massage is prescribed as a medical treatment. It needs to be in writing. And you'll bring it to the spa with your appointment.
At the spa we'll follow all recommended procedures to keep you safe. Including taking your temperature. Disinfection of the entire room and common areas before each appointment. Wearing a mask and face shield during your treatment.
What does this mean for you?
If you have a prescription for medical massage then we can perform your massage indoors. With air conditioning.
Without a prescription, your massage will be performed in our outdoor garden space. This is a fenced backyard. It is private, one-on-one and open to the outdoor airflow. We still follow all disinfection and safety protocols.
What do we need?
If you need a medical massage, please request your appointment online or by email. Let us know that you have your prescription. If you don't bring your prescription with you for your appointment, we'll have to cancel and reschedule your massage.
Please note, you'll be charged for a last minute (less than 24 hour) cancellation.
What can you book online?
For a garden massage, you can book directly online. The schedule is opening up after October 7th. So there will be a great deal more available appointments.
A Garden Massage is our popular and therapeutic Restorative Massage performed in a outdoor setting. Same service that you know and love. Just outside as the Governor allows.
Ok. I hope this was clear. If you have any questions or comments, leave them below. Or send me an email.
