Beautification Award:
Tuscany Spa Skin & Body Clinic

This award is being given to a business that has demonstrated an extraordinary improvement to the appearance of the community. Florencita now has the dramatic look and calm of the Tuscany countryside. Hermina Lathe with the help of her architect and contractor Elias Esber were able to create a get-a-way that soothes the body and the soul known as Tuscany Spa. This special retreat is a mother and daughter partnership. Daughter Michelle oversees the equipment and services and Hermina manages the operation. Tuscany Spa opened in Montrose in July 2005 and with it came 21 years of experience in making clients "walk in and get away from it all." The Chamber applauds Hermina and Michelle for showing the community that beauty is a state of mind.
