A salon owner since 1989, Hermina Lathe has spent more than 20 years in the beauty industry as an esthetician and educator. A self-proclaimed risk taker, it wasn't long before she opened a salon, performing all facets of professional beauty therapy and esthetics, including promotions and sales of Yon-Ka Paris and M.D. Formulations.

In 1995, Hermina opened La Mouche - The Beauty Spot along with her daughter Michelle - who had recently completed her esthetician training - as co-owner. For nearly 11 years, La Mouche - The Beauty Spot became a premier salon for professional skincare and was recognized in the Best of Glendale annual awards. As one of her most notable achievements, Hermina earned a diploma from CIDESCO International in Zurich, Switzerland, the world's most prestigious qualification in the field of esthetics and beauty therapy. She has worked with M.D. Formulations and i.d. Bare Escentuals skin care for over 14 years, offering on-site client training and seminars. She has trained with some of the industry's most well known skin care lines, including Yon-Ka Paris, Eminence Organic Skincare, PCA Physicians Choice of Arizona, Pevonia Botanica, Epicuren Discovery and Biodroga Skincare.

In addition to her role with Tuscany Spa, Hermina is president and CEO of La Mouche Inc., an independent marketing company that represents a wide range of skincare and beauty products. As a skilled educator, Hermina continues to provide product education to skin care professionals nation-wide.
